US payments specialist TSYS has issued an electronic thought-leadership toolkit to help issuers understand and prepare for digital payments. “Consumers are increasingly becoming more comfortable with new digital technologies, such as mobile wallets, contactless payments and peer-to-peer [P2P] payments,” said Morgan Beard, director of strategic marketing, TSYS’ issuer product group. “While the digital payment revolution is still in its infancy, banks must prepare now to develop customer-centric strategies that address security and deliver seamless payment experiences.”
The toolkit includes:
• A white paper titled ‘The Importance of Permission Marketing in the Digital Age’, co-authored by Andy Kulina, Managing Director, Cambridge Loyalty, and Beard.
• A video interview with Ali Raza, principal, Catalyst Consulting Group, discussing emerging trends in the payments industry.
• An infographic showcasing the change in customer expectations
• Supplemental insights from the 2016 UK Consumer Payment Study and the 2016 German Payment Study.
