Mambu opens Singapore office

The company said that the city state's development as a fintech hubmade makes the expansion a natural progression.

Software-as-a-service (SaaS) banking platform provider Mambu has opened its first office in the Asia Pacific (APAC ) region. The new office in Singapore will headed up by Chan Chiou Hao who recently joined the company as their new regional head. The company said that the office “reflects Mambu’s expansion and commitment to existing clients in the region whilst supporting ongoing plans for growth.”

Mambu’s APAC clients are spread across China and South East Asia as well as Australia and New Zealand, accounting for nearly a third of the company’s total business to date. With Singapore becoming a key fintech hub the new office “was a natural progression for the company.”

Chiou Hao has over 18 years of sales and marketing experience having worked with companies including Justlogin.com, Salesforce.com, QlikTech and SumTotal Systems. He also founded two venture capital backed Internet companies, which were later acquired. Chiou Hao graduated with a BBA from National University of Singapore and completed his MBA at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
